Exercise and education play a vital role in prevention and managing chronic health conditions. Yet, for many, beginning an exercise routine can be daunting given physical limitations, safety concerns, lack of information about the disease process and a variety of other factors.

Cooper® Tracks provides participants guidance and support to help them begin exercising, increase confidence and develop habits to live healthier and best manage their chronic conditions. Cooper Tracks comprehensive health education programs give participants the opportunity to learn how lifestyle modifications can positively affect their well-being and specific health conditions.

The program is designed for:

  • Sedentary individuals who want to begin an exercise program
  • Individuals who have been diagnosed with chronic disease or risk factors for disease
  • Individuals transitioning from a completed rehabilitative program to regular physical activity
  • Individuals following a preventive approach via exercise and lifestyle modification
  • 8 weeks in length
  • (2) 60 min. Sessions per Week
  • 45 min. Exercise + 15 min. Education
  • Educational content specific to disease process, nutrition and lifestyle modification
  • Pre- and post-program health assessments
  • Exercise tracking tools
  • Social support and accountability

COVID-19 Long Hauler Immunity & Reconditioning

Appropriate for individuals who are deconditioned from illness or immobility, recovering from COVID-19, or just have a desire to boost immunity.

Each workout session includes a warm-up, cardiovascular training, strengthening and resistance training and a cool-down with diaphragmatic breathing and mindful relaxation.

Active with Diabetes

Appropriate for individuals who have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes or Diabetes Type 1 or 2.

  • Health education on how habits and mindset affect diabetes, specifically
  • Improve overall health
  • Learn exercises to help develop a more active lifestyle
  • Build a support system
  • In order to participate, individuals must be ambulatory, independent with blood sugar management and able to perform at least 10 minutes of sustained activity or exercise.

Each workout session includes a warm-up, cardiovascular training, strength and resistance training.

Appropriate for individuals who have a desire to follow a preventive approach to health, are deconditioned or sedentary or inconsistent with regular exercise.

    Meet standard recommendations for physical activity

Appropriate for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer and are undergoing treatment or recovering from cancer at any stage.

  • Exercise program in small group setting
  • Learn how mindset can elevate mood and self-esteem while reducing depression and anxiety
  • Decrease symptoms of fatigue, a common side effect of cancer and cancer treatment
  • Improve balance and strength

Each workout session includes a warm-up, cardiovascular, strength, and resistance training, followed by a cool down with diaphragmatic breathing.
