“I joined the 90 day program because I had a “big birthday” and I wanted to improve my health. When I joined, I was pre-diabetic and I also have arthritis. I wanted to learn how to improve my health to control these issues. After I
completed the program, I am happy to say that I am not pre-diabetic and I learned which foods to eat to reduce the inflammation caused by arthritis.

The success of this program for me was not only the philosophy of the program, but also our dietician Robin Lynch and our trainer Lynn Murgia. Robin’s knowledge of nutrition is amazing! I learned so much from her and

“The Healthy Care Program has really made a huge impact on my life. I have been dieting since I was 10 and always felt like I had to be counting something. Under this program, I have just been focused on eating healthy foods. Understanding the chemistry around the foods has helped me to make better choices about which foods I eat.

I haven’t had to count calories or points, but I have been focused on making sure I eat lots of fruit and vegetables and then some protein and nuts and legumes. I have not been really hungry since I started the program. I also don’t miss pasta and sweets. The recipes provided and food tips have also been helpful. I have tried so many new healthy foods and find I really like most of them!
I have been pushing myself to try new recipes to expand my palate and make sure that my diet remains interesting.

It wasn’t just the food and lecture portion of the diet that was helpful, but also the exercise program each night as well. The variety of classes that we were offered brought some needed lift to my exercise routine.
